2nd Generation Need to get heater core out

G'day guys,

89 camry - good heater core
88 camry - bad heater core

Ok i have a problem, my heater core is leaking in my camry (pretty bad, i lost 2 litres of coolant driving 15kms down the road hehe). I still have my old camry in the yard, which has a brand new heater core in it (as far as i know). So know i'm trying to get it out.

I have basically pulled the ENTIRE bottom of the dash out. :P and the heater core won't come out. Soooo i'm guessing i need to pull out the top of the dash. I've found 4 bolts so far, 2 in the side vents and 2 below them. Seems like a bolt or 2 in the middle but can't find them. Any ideas?

Thanks
Matt

In the mean time you can always double-back the hose so you can drive it while you figure it out. (This is a great save when you're in the middle of nowhere and can't afford to lose all your coolant.)

I have taken off the hoses, and double back the hoses. Did that weeks ago. My main problem is i have taken the old cars bottom half of the dash off, there seems to be bolts on the top of the heater core holding it in, but i can't see them.
