Of the top of my head: Axle outboard boots can go bad and allow dirt to get into the joint. These boots can be replaced, but the dirt can still be there leading to joint failure over time. Engine mounts go bad (a common problem). Depending on miles, the timing belt may or may not have been replaced. Above year 1998, I think it was 90K recommended miles, before this year 60K. Usually the water pump, idlers, etc get changed out at say 120K.
The top and bottom portion of the radiator are plastic, and can have hairline cracks that leak fluid. The valve stem seals can go bad resulting in smoke after start up. Not a big deal, but would require removing the valve train to replace them.
Check the trans for fluid color and condition. Plus slipping, smooth shifts, etc. I have read numerious posts about trans problems due to lack of fluid changing by the past car owner.
Compression test 178psi, min 142, cylinder differance less then 14psi.
The rear suspension bushings can sqeak, there was a service bulletin about this.
The disk brakes can have tendancy to warp, expecially if encountering road water when hot.
Check for valve cover and head gasket oil leakage, even behind the engine.
Check A/C operation, the clutch had tendancy to rattle. Another service bulletin. The A/C system cools very very well.
I suggest you take an hour or two and just read TN posts about this car. You will learn a lot!
That is all I can think of now.
