i feel like it is sluggish. i have to really put my foot alittle more on the pedal for it to get going, my idle is at 550- 500 with a/c on or off. my washerfluid pump or holder is leaking, my anitfreeze turned red when it was a light green?
thats really about it...
although i have a few question... apart from all that.... interior lighting... all the lights on the A/c vent look really dim after i put new 74.s any other way to brighten them up?

1. if you turn on your a/c in your 5sfe the car will be little retarded. its normal for our 4cyl cars.
2. Just buy a new resivor for your windshield washer!
3. I'm confused by your antifreeze. I hope you know toyota uses/recommends toyota 'RED' fluid for antifreeze coolant. More than anything, red(or green for that matter) should turn brown (from internal radiator rusting)...nor red. If its maroon or brown...flush your radiator, If its red..its normal. But you said it was green...that part i'm not sure about..you can answer that yourself....
4. Where did you buy your a/c replacement bulbs from? (that could be cause of things, no offence, i buy them from toyota. i get consistant color).
5. MPG, i still get 30-31mpg's with 10% ethanol (i'm 4 cyl too). I easily get 500+ miles on the fillup. how many miles on your car (every 60K miles i replace sparks+ignition wires). I used desno iridium+nkg wires.
For better milage: use proper inflated tires, remove dead bodies from the trunk, no jack rabbit starts, coasting to stop lights and intersections where you need to stop. Just take it easy

If it is sluggish, several things come to mind: When was the last time it had a tuneup? Air filter and fuel filter changed? Try a tank of premium and see if your performance comes back to the level it should be.
If none of these fix it to your satisfaction, do a compression check or a cylinder leakdown check. A compression check should show about 180# for a strong engine, minimum acceptable is 141#.
Regarding the antifreeze turning red, theres only two things i can think of could cause this,
1. you recently changed the coolant and there was some red leftover inside the engine? Or,
2. The automatic transmission fluid cooler inside the radiator (it is built-in to the radiator) has corroded through, and is leaking ATF into your coolant. All this means is that you should check your ATf and if the level is going down, or the fluid is milky/watery, take the car to a radiator shop and see what they think. And change the radiator or have it changed and do a really good flush of the cooling system and the trans.
