Last night, I get a call from my roommates who got stranded by their VW Cabrio at Magic Mountain (80 miles away) at 1 in the morning. They had no idea where they were, and everything was closed. To say the least they were scared. I rescued them and even towed the car home.
Last year I saved my other roommate when his Sonoma died 100 miles from home, in the country with no one around. Same with my roommates Accord that gave up the ghost downtown.
My Camry has 115K miles on it and has never missed a beat, ever. I can't undersant why anyone would buy anything else that would be less reliable. I know people say that Toyotas aren't exciting, but none of my friends with BMWs, Subies and other exciting cars, ever use them to the full abilities and they always break down. Everytime my friends ride in my car they comment on how nice the ride is, how comfortable the seats are, they even say it smells nice. Personally, I think they are jealous. My Camry can hold its own ground if you push it a little, but it has never put a foot wrong.
Simply put, I would father my Camrys childern. We could name our kids Corolla and Yaris, the fat one will be called Matrix.
Its true. I just finished finals and am highly caffeniated and tired. But look at it. The curves, the tight skin, mmmmmm. You could sleep with it and the Camry will give birth our its huge trunk. Twins maybe.
I know for a fact that you can fit two 10 year olds in the trunk...
...and that he emergency release handle doesn't work if you sit on the trunk lid either.

First of all, Camry is a great car. I totally agree. And I agree its on the boring side too. I didn’t get a Camry until I got married and settled down. I use to drive a Toyota Celica, VW GTI Golf, and Passat. I had my VW GTI for a long time. It had problems, but man was it fun to drive and it looked a lot sportier than a Camry. Corned nice, handled well. Good road feel, etc. Good acceleration, etc. I’m not knocking the Camry whatsoever, but find a good balance. When you are young and free, get the fun car. Once you get married or settle down, get the boring and reliable car.

You can also fit a drunk college kid, me, in there. He can also wake up the next morning not knowing where the hell he his (long story).

Screw that... get the reliable car young and with the money you save w/ fuel economy and not having it break down you go and buy a sports car when you old... at like age 26
