4th Generation Help: P0401 and P0406

Hi,

I have a 2000 Camry 2.2
Went to autozone and the CEL code came back with:
P401 and P406. This is what I found on TN

P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected
P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Circuit High

I had 401 before and the dealer changed out the
1- vacume S valve assy
2- egr vacume valve assy

and that was like 14 months ago in Tx.
I am in FLorida now.

I might try cleaning the EGR tomorrow. Cos
http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/h61.pdf mentions that there are 3 components to a EGR system.

Any idea what P0406 means???

How do i fix it?

Weeeelllllll, I don't know what 0406 is. I have a suspicion, though--I wonder if the guy at Autozone misspoke and instead of 0401 and 0406, it was actually 0441 and 0446, as these two codes together are a very common occurance, usually indicating a failed vsv on the charcoal canister. Might be worth checking if you don't find out anything else.
