3rd Generation KYB part number problem ?!?

I'm having a little problem..

Last week I ordered a set of KYB GR2 shocks for my 3rd Gen ('92) Camry
(Sealed struts)

I went on the KYB website
http://www.kyb.com/catalog/index.php...D=543&x=46&y=8

And I found that the part numbers that I need are the following:

334131
334132
334133
334134

I have received the shocks the part numbers match what I ordered and what seems to be the good p/n on the KYB website

Looke like the front shocks are not good... or.. not made for the car.. The place where the spring sits on the shocks is too small and the lip on the border is not made to hold the spring in the center like the OEM shocks are made

Am I the only one who had problems with KYB GR2 shocks ?

What is the good part number that I need for my front suspension

The rear shocks are the right ones

I will post pictures of that..

Too bad I was planning to install the trd springs/kyb shocks/whiteline sway bar tomorrow

3rd Generation

Well, I can't say much just from the pics, but do you have a model with sealed struts? I think the model you have has serviceable struts. Which would mean you got the wrong ones for the front. On top of that, you seem to be missing the spring mount on the front strut. ( possibly in need of mount and bearing?) But first off, check the to make sure that's the right set of front struts. I think they're supposed to all be silver.

P/Ns are correct, I have a set of four that are all Black. You're missing the seat and bearing for the fronts.

You need to swap the parts from your old struts if they are ok. With the old part off you should be able to see what part needs to be changed over.

The thing is that I have serviceable struts on my camry.. but I want sealed struts.. There is no differences except that I will need to buy the seats for the front shocks.

I don't know why I don't really trust serviceable struts.. in my old camry, once, the thing that hold the shock in the struts unscrewed and the shock was loose

I will order the seats for the front shocks this week!

if he had serviceable struts the full replacements would work anyway, and its all four that are inserts on the serviceables, not just the fronts
