3rd Generation Does the comp. "Adapt" to your driving?

I just installed my CAI (sorry no pics yet, dad has the Camera). It consists of a short ram with a flexible hose extension (part of the Weapon R CAI conversion kit) and a cone head filter sitting in front of the front driver wheel right where the bottom intake vent sits on the front bumper. I used some metal clams on every joint and clamped the actual cone to a hole in the steel frame that’s part of the headlight assembly. Now all I have to do is clamp the short ram part to somewhere in the engine bay so it does not move around.
The car feels roughly the same (although it was damn hot today (90+ degrees with some humidity), but I think at higher RPM's it’s peppier.

My question concerns the engine management comp. Does it actually take time for it to adjust to the new intake or is this "adaptable" computer a myth?

It does, just unplug the negative terminal on the batt for 10min and put it back on. Drive fast to get the computer used to it hehe. Oh yeah, the search function is your friend. (I just asked this yesterday)
