My Camry washed, waxed and polished.

Just spent most of the day washing, waxing and polishing/detailing my Camry. Came out very nice. Pics in the links range 175~225K so dialup should be okay.

Need to order new front "spats" as Toyota calls them. Got some "in a hurry" parking lot curbing on them. One is actually split at the bottom/front fold where it bends back and under.

Thanks all!

Wax I'm using is Mequiar's High Tech Yellow #26 paste wax. Carnauba based. Gave it a thorough wash with Meguar's Gold Class car wash and wipe down with a synthetic wipe, sun dried, parked in a garage, damp wiped with synthetic wipe to cool down and remove any residual dust, waxed, used a loop weave synthetic cloth and hand buff and then polished with a microfiber cloth.

If any of you decide to use this wax, make sure you use a thin even coat on a cool surface. If you apply a thick coat, you will spend a inordinate amount of time trying to buff it out and if on a hot surface, it will dry too quick to spread thinly and evenly.
