How can you tell if you need a Fuel Injection service in a Toyota Camry 92 LE and is it really worth it?

if you have a rough idle, the car seems to have no power, etc.

and it's always worth it, even as preventative maintenance

and you can also use seafoam

My car just seem to loose power sometime, during the drive when I try to pick up from 0 to 70 km/hr even when I jave half tank (it is fine in full tank) Do I need same thing?

And what is fuel injection service? Is it done by a mechanic or you have to fill a bottle of fuel injector?

Give it a shot. It doesn't hurt anything. Either you or a technician can perform this. Most of us do this ourselves because it's not hard once you do it and much cheaper (about $6).

Here's a sale pitch on what an induction service does

Here's a picture of a throttle body before and after cleaning.

Here's a Seafoam product description and directions on use.

Instructions with pics

Does putting Techtron Fuel System cleaner into fuel tank do the job? I also cleaned the trottle body last week.

Depending on how you use Seafoam, you could also clean the top of the pistons, PCV System, clean and remove moisture from engine parts.

If your losing power I would suggest the following.

Check your Fuel FIlter and I would run Seafoam to clean the injectors. I would also check your air filter and spark plugs and wires. Maybe your car just needs a tune up.

Thanx man. It seem like amazing tutorial. I will give it a try after going home. Pictures makes it much much easier to understand then just the terms.

Are you talking about the rectangular air filter? I changed it 2 weeks ago. it was nesty. but I didn't clean the place around it. It is still quite nesty. I thought that is only used for air that comes inside the car. Or there is another air filter?
