Quick Electrical Question, Need Answer ASAP

Today I began attempting to replace my ac control lights because a couple went out. Now, the dealer doesnt have them in stock, and they said I would need to bring the light bulbs there in order to show them which ones to order. So finally, I just got them out, and now I have to drive over there. But, my car wont start without my negative battery cable connected. My negative battery cable is disconnected because I had to disconnect so many wires in the intstrument panel, cig lighter, etc in order to get to the ac control light bulbs. Now, I don't really want to put everything back together because that means I'm going to have to take it all apart again when the bulbs come in. Do I have to put everything back in order to reconnect the negative battery cable, or can I leave my intrument panel, tape player, cig lighter, etc. off w/ everything disconnected?

Should be ok without all those things plugged in. If it's just radio, cig lighter and vent controls, there shouldn't be a problem drivng around with them disconnected.

I've driven around my front doors in pieces and my window switches all disconnected before.

Is there any numbers on the bulbs that you can call in? Or maybe you could catch a ride with somebody!

I drove w/ everything disconnected, seems alright.
