3rd Generation Custom Intake

I created my first custom mod for my car a custom air intake. It was quite easy to be honest, especially since i have a friend really into custom cars so he helped a lot too.

It was quite fun and only cost about 50 bucks and got everything from home depot and the filter from Auto Zone.

Honestly, I don't know we were mainly just trying to get something to work. I might go back and re-invest some money for a bigger pipe. We hontesly thought about it but wasn't sure if it would actually work and what would happen.

for $50 you could have gotten a cheaper one on ebay...

itd be worth the money spent if you can route the intake into the fender

I did something similar

I got a CAI from a '96..'98 civic and I cut the pieces to make a custom CAI for my 3VZ camry

I'm thinking about re-doing it with 3" tubing.

Here are the results:

Honestly we weren't expecting to spend that much money at all. We could have cut a couple of corners, but figured if we are going to do it we need to do it right.
