3rd Generation How much should I pay

Have been looking for a V-6 engine and have a friend found one a guy is selling for a good offer.

What would be a good price to offer for a 200k mile V6 that I am going to rebuild anyway.

Is it a 95 ot 96? 96 is the 1Mz.

Either way, I would say around 3500-4500 depending on the condition and mileage.

nope- 94 had the very first 1mz, and all 1mzs are obdII

but the 94 1mz was also designed as completely distributorless unlike the 1mzs afterwards which were designed as 3 distributorless, and 3 using a distributor + wires
