wet /rainy starting problems

This is for my wifes 2000 camry, if it is left outside in the rain it is hard to start and has a real heistsion(sp) when taking off. Sometimes it wont even stay running or bogs real bad. Anyone have any ideas? Car is is at 190,000 miles and this is the first problem we have had.

Thanks

Not bad. Take a look at the inside of the distributor cap and the rotor.

This is a 2000 Camry. It has distributorless ignition. It does not have a distributor cap or rotor.

The only things I can think of that could cause a problem in wet weather are the spark plug wires, the plugs themselves or the coil packs. If the wires and plugs are old, I would start by replacing them; then see how the car responds. They are cheap when compared to the coil packs.
