Engine died..can anyone in MA help me with an engine swap??

Hey guys, my 89 camry shit the bed a few months ago and i finally decided to do something about it. The engine that is in it right now is shit. "oil" light came on a few months back, after turning the car off when seeing the light come on, the car would not start back up. Had a mechanic check it out and he said the internals are shit.

So now i want to swap in a "new" 3sfe (not really new, but a used one in good condition). I have gone to a few mechanics about doing an engine swap but havnt really decided on one cuz the prices vary, and some garages are really sketchy and i dont know if i trust them really.

I was wondering if there was anyone that lives in Massachussets that could help me out with this? If anyone who lives in Mass has the equipment, and can perform an engine swap and is willing to help me out, let me know!

Also, if anyone knows the best and cheapest places to get a 3sfe engine in good condition, let me know. If there are any engine warehouses in Mass, please let me know also so i can save money on shipping if i can find one in my state.

Again, if anyone lives in Massachussets and can perform an engine swap and is willing to help me out, please let me know!! I need to get this car running real soon.

Thanks,
Filipe

Where are you in Massachusetts? I live in Attleboro, and may know someone that could help.

Why not lease an '07 and put your worries away?

If you can't find a 3SFE, a 5SFE will do.
You would have to swap all the accesories, sensors and whatnot, but you can use the block/head.
The only problem might be the dist wiring.
I don't know how different they are.

In order to get a 5sfe to work, i will probably have to do a lot of work and im sure the harness doenst connect to the 5sfe perfectly. I want to spend the least amount of money possible, so im gonna stick to gettin a 3sfe. Anyone know someone in central Mass that could help me??
