How do I add pictures to a post?

I see where there is an option on the tool bar to add an image but it asks for a URL which when I go to my picture folder the URL does not seem to want to take. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help.

You need to host pics online to be able to post them. If the site you host at doesn't give you the URL then just right click on the pic and select properties then copy the URL from in the properties screen click on the image button in the tool bar of the thread post area and paste the URL in the box that come up.

find the picture you want.

save it to your hard drive (that is if its not already there)

go to www.imageshack.us (i think thats right)

click the 'browse' button (or something to that effect)

find the picture on your hard drive

click the 'upload' button (that might be what its called)

next comes this screen (i think)

your gunna wanna highlight and copy one of the ones that say 'thumbnail for forum'

past that sucker into the reply box and then the 'post reply'
