bumper absorber- which one??

okay so i got my 95 96 bumper today to go on my 94... the question is, I need a new foam bumper absorber since mine is broken... its the foam piece that goes behind the bumper. do i order one for the 95 96 or the 92-94? anyone have any insight on this? i want to order one soon... thanks guys

skip the foam and just make sure you keep your rebar

most of the time when ppl get aftermarket bumpers, the foam won't fit anyway, and in some cases such as the rmm lip, you also have to take a couple of supports off the ends of the rebar itself

damon, with the 95-96 bumper cover, the 95-96 foam absorber will fit inside it... the metal is the same between everything, but the cover and foam changes. you CAN go without it, like eye said, but if you want it, get the 95-96

thanks guys... it seemed like it did a lot from this little fender bender i was in, im not sure I want to run without it... its only like 40 bucks for a new one, if it ends up saving me or my family i guess theyre worth 40 bucks... but not a penny more!
