R12 or R134

What do I have in my 1992 Camry LE 4 cylinder?

The old stuff...R12...which is now illegal to use in Canada. There are some replacement liquids, but I forgot the names....

Here in the states R134 started with the 1994 model year.

My car is Japan build, so they most probably have started it even later.

I was talking about model year 1994. All Camrys sold here in the US, whether they were US or Japan built, came with R134 systems. That was one of the reasons I waited a year and bought a 94 instead of a 93.

My air conditioner started to work, without any gas insertion..

I just noticed an o ring was rusted, and gas was leaking from there. I just tied another plastic oring on it, and started to work..
