Welcome

What can I say? The Camry is a PERFECT car
On the the real tho - Did you have any particular mod that was of interest to you? (ie. suspension, lights, body, wheels, exhaust, turbo etc)

Welcome to the forum. If you want to do anything to your car i think suspension should be first.I got a 1997 Camry xle v6 and i found the suspension real bad so i got (solara drop more)eibach springs and tokico struts. Then you can get sway bars and a strut brace.I think you got a 4cyl so I would go all look and safety before going into performance. After all that you can get mags, intake, exhaust and maybe if you have alot of money a turbo.I hope that helps and welcome to our Toyota family..

lol thanks. i was real impressed with the camrys ride compared to my 90 stanza. my cars only got 29k(mi) on it and i think its real smooth.. its not a quick as the stanza 2.4liter but it has a tighter turn and smoother ride. i dont have any money but as far a suspension goes, i was thinking lower and or tower strut bars (i dunno the difference in performence).
its still under warrenty.. so nothing serious for awhile..

Welcome!

Strut tower bar is one of the cheapest (and effective) mods you can get. It definitely makes a difference during sharp corner at a relatively high speed. You can also get TRD drop-in filter too and that won't viod your warranty.

TRD rear swaybar always keeps the rear wheels planted on the ground.

These are the effective (and cheap) mods I can come up from my head for now.

Welcome to the forum man.

I agree with CamryRR. Suspension is the first thing you should do if you are gearing your car towards performance. You'll need a good base to handle the power you'll be feeding it!

By suspension I don't mean just front strut tower brace. I'm talking about springs and struts on all corners, rear swaybar as well. Do it one step at a time until you have the complete package.

We're here to help you when you need it.

Welcom, Dark. Hope we can help you on your quest to improve your Camry.

I'm in full agreement about the suspension.

Suspension, definately s-s-suspension.

Speaking of suspension... Anybody heard of a Sweedish Co. called B+G?

Welcome!
I personally have owned two Camrys (an 85 and a 95 amoung other Toyotas) and I will say that the Camry is a PERFECT car ...alltho not the easist platform to tune ...which is what makes having a tuned Camry all that much more special!

I've heard of them, Eric. And I know that they do have springs for the Gen3. Haven't heard much in terms of quality though.
