Gen5 Bigger Rims Bigger Brakes?

at what point do you have to change the stock brakes when you plus size and upgrade to larger wheels? do you have to change rotors and brakes when you ride 18"'s and 19"'s?

usually if someone gets a big brake kit, the wheels need to be a minimum of 17 or whatevers, it depends..

you are fine on 18's and 19's - bigger brakes are not a bad thing - and they will look very cool behind those wheels - but not needed...

think of it since the gen5 comes with 17's stock - you are very good in the 18's and 19's - probably very good in the 20's - but when you get into 22/24/26 (not that most people do on a camry) you could have some trouble stopping...

all those monte carlos with 26's are probably not in the best stopping state with stock brakes
