Exclamation PW on drivers side won't move

The power windows on drivers side won't do anything. I've swapped the control panel into my 94 corolla, and it worked fine. The 94 corolla control panel doesn't work in the 89 camry. The window lock botton works, and the door lock will lock with the key off, and unlock with the key on. So far i've checked the circuit breaker and fuses. They all are good. The windows on the passenger side will go down only from their respective switch at the doors. I've checked for power to the actual window motor, and there is no power from the wires. Anything else I can check? Thanks

There have been a lot of recent posts on this subject with ideas on what can be wrong and how to fix it. Suggest you do a history search.

Well yeah, I already did that.. The only thing that I haven't been able to fully check is whether a wire is frayed inside the pillar. I just find it odd that ALL the windows don't work from the master controller. As well as the door lock only works one way depending on whether the key is on or off(pressing the same button).

I have also tested the window motor, and it works.

This info is from a later model Camry, but might be similar. The passenger window(s) have a separate power wire (blue) from the main control relay, as such they can work independently. If they do, the main power relay should be OK. The control panel receives power (at 2 locations) through another single blue wire from the main control relay. Check to see if the control panel has power at these locations.

The driver’s side window motor is controlled solely by the control panel (red and green wires). The control panel can also control the front passenger window by means of green/white and red/blue wires. If you have 4-doors, there will be 4 additional wire to operate them. Green/black, red/black and green/yellow, red/yellow. The white/black wires are ground.

The door lock is separate circuit (red/blue and white/blue). Do all the power locks work?

If you are getting power to the control panel, but nothing is coming out. This could be your problem.

The power locks have power, but don't seem to work properly. Both DS and PS bottons act the same. With key on, the doors unlock, with keys off, the door locks If I push the botton twice, the lock will go down, and instantly come back up. The control panel from my 94 corolla works exactly the same way in the camry. The window lock botton also works. I messed with the wiring that goes through the door, and nothing seems to be contacting no matter what I do.. Tomorrow when its lighter out side, I will pull that whole boot out and look through the wiring.. That wiring identification is exactly what I was hoping somebody would post. If I have that, I should be able to identify the wires. Thank you.

I just pulled the entire flexy boot from the car to the door. There are at least 3 wires in there that are competely disconnected.. Thats why I couldn't get anything to contact from moving the wires. I'm headed out to solder them now... Thanks
