Okay, I've found a local guy that has a good condition set of grey leather ES250 seats, which he is asking $175 + my velour seats. I would like a leather interior in the Camry, but I have a few questions first:
1. I'm pretty sure they do, but just to make sure, do the ES250 seats bolt straight in place of the old ones? (I know the back seat does, since I have 60/40 split fold down seats)
2. My Camry has the wire harness with the 3 plugs (?) that is located under the driver's seat. Would the power driver's seat plug into this?
3. How do you get the front seats off? I looked and the 2 front bolts on each seat seem pretty straightforward, but I dunno where the bolts on the back of the front seat rails are. I would guess they are under the plastic covers, but idk?
4. Other than burning your ass on hot days and more maintainence, what disadvantages do leather seats have over cloth/velour seats?
5. Based on experience and opinion, do you think this is a good deal?

i actually just did something similar to this, i wanted a leather back seat to match he rest of my interior, so i pulled the back seat out of an ES 300 of the same years, and they fit perfect, i can only assume it it is the same for yours as you have a gen2. i would do some research to make sure, but it appears that they like to follow each other with the same years on alot of the interior and some exterior panels. so i would grab a tape measure and make sure the width and everything is okay, and i would say if the width is okay then i would go for it.
and to get the back seats up, normally there are tabs (two for camry, three for lexus) under the edgs of the seat, right under the lip, and you just have to pull upwards firmly, and the tabs will snap loose, then the split back peices have some hooks right be hind either side and those just un hook. i can only assume that this information is correct, as that's normally how it's done.
good luck though man!

Thanks for the info. As for the seats, the back seats were a piece of cake to get out, but I was referring to the back of the front seat rails in my first post.

The gray velour seats are like the most comfortable car seats i ever had, why would you want to trade them, plus pay $175 for leather? Definatly keep the velour, a few gen2's had leather interiors and it just looks out of place.

Yep, thanks for the advice guys. I am keeping the velour and already used the $175 to buy myself a new ipod video.
It would be kinda cool to have leather seats, but it's just a shitty camry that I wanna make my beater as soon as I get enough money to buy a LS400, so spending $175 would have been a total waste.
