3rd Generation flex pipe help asap

ok last night my flex pipe for 1996 1mzfe took a hit and tore a big hole in it. it tore in the braided part

can i buy one of these and just weld it in

I dont know the actual size and dimensions of the original flexpipe but if they match that 1 that you showed in the first link, its a cut and weld affair. You cut out your old flex and put the new 1 in and weld it. You just got to make sure that the sizes are the same.

I remember when I broke my flex and my car sounded awesome. I felt like I was in Fast and FUrious for a whole week.

The flex section can stretch or compress a bit.
If you are going to do this yourself, go see what the parts store has in stock and weld it in.
