Angry Severely Bent Fins on a new Radiator...Is it a problem?

I purchased a new koyo brand radiator to replace the cracked one in my car. I just received it today and after inspecting the fins and overall structure of the radiator I noticed that those dicks at UPS did a poor job of handling in their process of shipping the radiator from the warehouse to my apartment..

Looking at my NEW radiator, it appears that the first six columns to the left are severely bent in a weird manner...as if someone decided to take a hammer and punch in that one section. The fins are compacted and crushed, and I guess my question is whether or not the damage to these fins will have a severe impact on the performance of the radiator.

Ideally, I would love to call UPS and go through my time to try to make them take responsiblity but I don't think they'd listen.
Since the scenario is that I really need to be somewhere next week, I just would like to know whether or not it is worth it to just hold off and wait for a non-bent radiator, or just stick with this current one.

Thanks.

personally, If I got a NEW radiator... no way in hell I would take it bent

Contact UPS customer services, if you complain long enough and far enough up the chain I bet you get a refund or something.
Did you get any shipping insurance? For a few extra bucks you can get insurance on your shipment so they have to replace it.

Don't even bother replacing the old one with a damaged radiator. If all those fins are bent that means the coolant isn't going to cool as well through that area, so all the extra heat just goes back to your engine. Cooling isn't much of a problem right now, but I don't think you want to deal with an overheated engine come warmer temps. Why were you going to replace your radiator? cuz If your original radiator works I'd say get a new radiator.
Good Luck

Appreciate the help.

on me, for even thinking about staying with a bent radiator.

tex- talked to the company i bought it from, they filed a claim with ups; however, in order to get my money refunded on the radiator...I have to send the thing back to the company, via ups. funny thing is, when I get a replacement radiator, it's gonna go back here through ups as well.

gen3cam- my current radiator has a crack in it. I tried patching it up with some jb weld, but didn't hold too well. Wanted to make sure that I got a new radiator in, before summer rolls around (in texas...that means in a few weeks)
