Knock out the lug. You can drive around on 4 lugs temporarily to the auto store. Buy yourself a new lug. Hammer it in. Done.

is that your rear drum?

Get a hammer and hit on it from four different sides to get the drum loose. Don't be afraid to go to town on it.

Once it's loose you can get it off. Becarefull about breathing up the brake dust.

If a hammer won't loosen it, it has 2 jackholes.
They are 8 x 1.25mm.
Once you have the drum off, beat out the broke stud through the rear.
There should be a acess hole, so rotate the hub til it's over it.
Once the old one is out, push the new one in, then using several washers and a lug nut, thread it on, and force the stud through.

European Union

you can drive perfectly fine on 4 lugs. i'm living in europe this summer (spain) and MOST of the cars here have 4 lugs from the factory. (also most of the cars here are wagons with 1.2L diesel engines, with 17" rims and 165mm treadwith tires)...

You can drive fine on it, but on a hub that is designed for 5 lugs, driving on 4 isn't the best idea long term...

Yeah i've replaced countless studs at work because other folks cross-thread the lugs onto them >

It's no biggie, just pound off the brake drum, like has been said, pound out the old stud, which has also been said, and put the new one in. You have to get it as flush with the wheel hub as the others. At work I order 2 lugs, cuz I mess one up putting the stud in. I put a couple wrenches (use them the same as washers) over the new stud, put the lug on, and use an impact to pull the stud through. Washers and a 4-way should work fine, just be prepared to put some weight into it.

Good luck!
