Looking to upgrade dome light of Gen5 Camry? Anyone know the wattage and lumens of the stock dome light bulb so I can make a good upgrade that has a white-appearance. I already tried 9-LED festoon bulb and they were not the kind of performance I was looking for.

I know Gen5's use festoon bulb numbers 3175 and 3423.

hey, i just popped off the cover for m domelight and right there molded in the plastic was "12v8w"
so there's your wattage answer, i wouldn't worry about lumen ratings, you can't believe company specs

Thanks. I been busy and never checked the manual. I guess it would be a good idea to not exceed that wattage.

wattage doesn't really matter, you won't be able to find any bulb that fits in there that's too strong for the wiring anyway.
and wattage doesn't mean brightness cause some lights are more efficient than others.
