Head unit

OKAY i need help for this one stupid thing, i got a aiwa head unit for my Camry LE, i installed it all nice and stuff but i dont now how the hell to hook up the power antenna ....there where two blue wire housings, one small one which had the connections to the back speakers, and another one a bit bigger was for power and the front two speakers and the power antenna wire or wires, i dono which one of the wires is for the antenna, i need to know which wire or wires i need to cut for the antenna! its drivin me insane, Someone help!

There is only one wire for your power antenna. What are you unclear about? The one coming out of the HU or the car?

actually.....that's not true....depending on the car, it could be diff....

there's always one for the antenna signal, but for gen3 cams at least, it takes two wires to get the antenna up.....

use this button and take a look....there was a thread recently concerning this matter....

look i dono which one of the wires is the anteanna wire, but i went to the link u gave me on ur first reply and i found a diagram of what wires are to wat, i should be able to make a switch with that, thanx a shit load, !!!!!

For any aftermarket radio, the blue wire from its harness is always the antenna turn on, the blue with white stripe is always the amp turn on.

So wait, when u connect the black/blue wire and the pink/blue wire, the antenna will go up? or which way or how do i connect, which wires do i connect to which wire? Someone help!

if you put a switch along that line... when you turn the switch ON (circuit is complete)... and if you're radio is on... then your antenna will go up.
