I need new shocks for my 92 camry V6, I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what some good ones are. And if anyone knows any good places to get them. Any help would be great, thanks

i have tokicos coming in the mail for my 92 v6 only other brand i know of is kyb, they make their gr-2s for us.

you might be able to get koni to make you a custom adjustable, but those are like 500/strut (usd). both the other brands should run you about 400-500 for a set, depending on if you get a serviceable cartridge or a full strut assembly replacement.

the cartridge is cheaper, but i chose the new assembly for looks. my stock struts are old, brown and cruddy. time to get some blue in there by the way if you want to find out if you have serviceable struts or not (not all camrys do), there are a few threads on this forum that have pictures to help you identify.

Best -> Worst

Koni -> Tokico Blues -> KYB GR2/OEM (KYB GR2 and OEM are basically the same in terms of performance except that you might spend less on the GR2).

Tokico Blues are the best compromize for price vs performance. The Konis are better but are a lot more expensive.

Too bad Camrys don't have the option of getting Tokico Illuminas... those would be SICK!

Of course if you got the cash, go for a coilover system and you'll be laughing.
