Gen5 TWM Shifter Problems

I'm having a lot of difficulty installing my new shifter rod purchased form TWM....everythign is removed but the rod...i can't take off the clip that allows the pin to be reomved in order to take out the shifter rod....Has anyone does anything like this? What is the vbest way to remove this clip? Please help

Hey r dizzle...thanks but i got it off..took a lot of froce to get that sucker off, lol I'll take some after shots as soon as i get my camera back....i'll let you know how it is too for future reference.
