I finally decided to upgrade my lights into HID, I am spending 600 bucks on them...I've been tryin to read up on what are ballast, tech words n such. Still don't understand. People say Hella, Phillips and things like that...still gets me confused. So for a noob, can anybody give me sites or names and parts of it I should get? I am planning to use 6000k blubs. But I DO NOT know any parts of it nor which is good. Can anybody tell me the exact name of the parts so I can try to google or ebay them or something. And I'm driving a 2005 LE.
Thanks, Sorry for the 1 millionth thread on HIDs.

You will need to modify the lamp housings also, not just the bulbs if you don't already know that.
You cannot just drop in a D2R or D2S bulb in your currrent lights and expect them to work right.
If you want quality stuff, stick with Hella, Philips, and other well known manufacturers. They produce high quality stuff because their reputation rides on it. Lesser know and eBay junk will be low quality because they're out to make a quick buck.
chronoti, the websites really help. but leasaunce, that preheating the headlights? that freaks the crap out of me. @_@, but i'll read up on it some more, thanks guys with the help.
preheating your headlights isnt as bad as u think. I've done it couple of times now with 2 pairs of headlights and it's all good. just gotta be careful.

^ what kind of modifications do you have to do to the housing? i also have a 05 LE and thinking of going HID 4300k-5000k
You'll need some type of assembly that was designed to work with HIDs, ie some type of HID projector, or you can get reflectors from a car that has reflector type HIDs and fit that into your head lights.
The reflectors in your car were designed to work with 9006 and 9005 bulbs not D2S or D2R bulbs.
