If your gen4 is anything like my gen3, you have to pry out the u-shaped trim piece. That would expose the screws which you need to take off next. After that, pull out the deck and unplug the harness.

Then, you'll probably come to the realization that you need to know the wiring colour codes to complete the installation of an aftermarket deck.

Ok this is what you do.First you take out the lower ash tray and then you put your hand in that space and you pull from the inside right side of the plastic trim .Then the lower part will unclip, after you get the botum part loose you just got to pull on the trim to unsnap the rest gently.Its very easy to unclip as long as your gentle.
