Gen IV feedback

It is a 2000 Camry CE, with 5 spd.

Pros: Great gas mileage, large gas tank, huge interior. Nice open engine bay, easy to work on it seems.

Cons: Handles like a Buick. Weak engine, have to rev it up to get going.

Transmission is nothing exceptional, or maybe I am not used to it.

Is there anything with a firmer ride, and V6, like Solara?

Quote:
The CE V6 came only with the manual gearbox, making this the only Camry so equipped and allowing the car to zip from 0 to 60 mph in under 8 seconds.

ce is a I4 so that car is underpowered.

Nice ride but not the sports car.

5sp should be ok and with v6, it will be ok.

if you want power, get a nissan altima

the camry isnt 'sporty' at least till this year's sport edition
most of the stock handling is mushy and it doesnt give you too much feedback but its really nice to drive and ride in.

sadly a v6 manual is hard to find, but the v6 camry's always dish out more than enough power.
