custom rims

I'm getting custom light weight rims made, but I have a few questions. First off I have a gen3 camry. The rims I'm getting made are going to be 15x6.5. My question is what is the bolt pattern? 5/100 or 5/114.3? Next question is what should the offset be since there are only 2 choices, it is +39 or +45. Last question is what should the tire size be, I'm thinking 205/50/15. Also note that I plan on dropping my car 2"

And if anyone knows, what is the weight of the average tire. (No Rim). I'm just curious, because the rims being made will be 8.3lbs. I want to keep the whole wheel weight below 15lbs if possible if not 20lbs.

First off the bolt pattern is 5/114.3.
The offset is up to you. Depends on how you want the combo to sit under the fenders.
You can get any size tire you want, but the one you have sounds fine.
And there is no "average" weight. Steel will be heavy, alloy will be lighter and forged will be lightest. The ones you are getting sound pretty light. Keep us updated. Where are you getting them?

For the tire size you specified, the tire itself probably weighs 20 pounds. So with the wheel you're probably looking at a 29 pound wheel and tire.

My cousin's friend said he could hook me up, all he needs are the specs. And the rims actually look nice, theyre going to run about $270 a rim, which isnt bad for forged rims. Is there such thing as light weight tires?

yes, but they are fairly expensive and don't have real great tread wear. I'd just use them for the track if you get them.

18's would be too heavy, these are my racing track rims. I already have a set of 17's for highway racing and I also have my steelies for winter. So all in all I have 3 sets of rims.
