Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself...

We now own a 2007 Camry XLE V6 w/Nav White/Grey. The car is great. It is one of the best Camrys Toyota has come out with.

But we were dreaded with the 160 cars. Ours was one. At 350 miles our Camrys Transmission died. I drove it to the dealer barely and they kept it since. Toyota and the dealership set up a meeting with us and we discussed what had to happen. Basically we were given a few options.

1) Give us a new 2nd gen tranny and give us the biggest extended warranty Toyota had to offer.

2) Replacement car of the same model/options.

3) Refund

We decided to go with #2. Glad we did after the fact. So after Toyota (was really taking care of the customers), took the decision, we got a rental for about 1 week. They fixed the Camry and loaned it back to us. It wasn't the same and had issues after the tranny swap. Clunking under the body, groment missing, etc. So this is why I said glad we got a replacement coming right off the assembly line.

2 months later today, we received our replacement Camry. Same options. It feels much better than the other one. With only 13 miles when we picked it up, its just a baby.

Toyota is the first manufacture I have seen take care of the customers this well. Nissan (which I was always a big hard head fan of never would do this). Here are some pics below. It is a beautiful car. I also posted a few of my car as well I just picked up 3 weeks ago.

Enjoy everyone and hope to be part of your community.

And my car guys....

Congrats! Both cars look beautiful. I saw a white SE the other day on the road, and had to wipe the drool off my chin.

Is that a pinstripe I see on the Camry? Are you planning to get the windows tinted? How dark is the tint on the TL?

Nice cars both! I also like the pinstripe on the Camry. I was thinking about getting one. Now for sure I will. "GOOD LUCK"

Yes we have a pin stripe. The Camry has tint now after those pictures were taken.

I can when I get a chance. It is a NAV GPS system.

Doh

After all that not only should you have gotten the new car (which you did) but they should have thrown in the longest warranty possible for no charge.

We are gonna try to push them a bit longer. The Dealer just lied to us 3 times and per toyota they were waiting on the dealer to get them the paperwork and the dealer says toyota. Plus we were not suppose to get our replacement car just yet and the dealer said they needed that car back because toyota wanted it back. Per toyota they did not send a recall for that car to come back since it was repaired. Uggg. Bunch of shit. If we keep getting the run around, we willl be turning the keys back in and asking for a refund.
