What are your favorite aftermarket headlight bulbs?

What do you use (brand and line) and why?
I'm looking for Osram Euro Silverstars for my '05 because i've been pleased with the sylvania silverstars and heard the osrams were even better.

I'll stick with PIAAs. Second to them are Raybrigs.

Osram Silverstars and Sylvania Silverstars are only different in that the Osram bulbs don't have the blue color coating like the Sylvania bulbs. But if you go that route, you may as well just get Sylvania XtraVision which is basically the same thing and easier to find that Osram Silverstars and probably won't be limited to Hn (where n is a number) type bulbs since you will need 9006/5 bulbs.

Gen5 9006 bulbs

i have a pair of Philips "Hi-Visibility" bulbs from K-Mart. they supposedly put out 30% more light? they're clear (non-tinted glass) and the light output seems brighter than stock.

i've seen GE's "Nighthawk" bulbs at Wal-Mart, but they dont have any claim as to how much brighter than stock they are. they're about $27 a pair, so they better be pretty bright.

i'm thinking of gettin Philips "Vision Plus", cuz they claim 50% more light, n the glass is clear too.

I love silverstars. I put the 9005 in the hi-beams of our '07 Camry and in the fogs of my '04 F-150. Insanely brighter, whiter light.

I wish they had the H11 in the silverstar so I could replace the projectors!!

I use PIAA Mirror Platinum (only available from Japan)

In my experience, SilverStars burn out too fast. Less than a year sometimes.

While on this subject, are there a few different packages for PIAA? I have seen a few on Ebay and want to make sure they are not nockoffs.

I had the PIAA Xtreme White bulbs in my 07 Camry. It's only a little brighter than the stock bulbs. Probably best to look into HID.

On your 2007 Camry, you said you replaced the H11 with the Piaa Extremes and there was little diffrence?
Wow, if there was little difference in the Piaa, HID is the only way to go. I find the stock H11 in my 2007 SE V6 to be adequate but lacking in brightness.
Thank for the heads-up on the Piaas!

well we have to inquire as to what perspective his assessment was from.
some people look at their car's headlights from the front and say some bulbs are brighter.
what matters is from the inside, of course.
