What aftermarket mufflers do you have on your Camry's and describe the sound ?
I havent posted here in a while since I was considering but couldnt afford a Camry. I have a 1989 Mazda 929 5spd, very rare and nice big RWD luxary car that paved the way for the LS400 and Q45. Ive already begun modding it I have a custom made cold air intake and full system, and some 10lb BBS RX7 rims. Ive already considered a set up for exhaust but dont know what muffler to run, my car has a 3L V6 with a 6200 rpm redline. Its obvious that are muffler wont sound the same but I get a good idea. Im lookin for low and mid range gains (dont need top end) without the farting sound. What mufflers are you running and how does it sound ?

similar im using hks hyper 2.5" all the way through with high flow cat and a different resonator than wat i had b4 cos of the stupid sound bylaw in downtown... but the resonator actually made my car sound better than before so i like it and also gave me my low end power back... not bad for custom made stuff.. heheh
nice, I like the hyper, what do they run for ? $300 ??? how do you pass aircare with a highflow ? dont you have a 4 banger ? can you seriously say that it doesnt sound like a 4cyl Accord ? cause I already know what it sort of sounds like. who did you custom work ? Carline ?
nope didnt go carline they cost too much i go elsewhere the one on lansdowne and 3 road there's a muffler shop there he's pretty good and no i dont fuckin sound like a honduh!!! esp when i go up fast... i like the sound... oh i have 4 cyl and yes i pass aircare high flow doesnt mean my car will fail btw my car has california emissions it was bought in california and i had it trailered here when i moved up... so yeah i think my car pass better than most canadian cars for aircare hehehehehe...
u can upgrade to highflows but u cant remove cat cos no cat means no test and automatic fail... cos they shove the mirror under ur ride... so ya like i said whenever u want or if this stupid rain stops we can meet up i can show u how it sounds like...
Its all good man, no wants to sound like a Honduh, I think a N1 would look real good on my 929 but sound, I dont know. Do you know what the name of the shop is called ? How much did youpay for the HKS ?
