When I had to replace the valve cover on my girlfriend's camry, I pulled one at a junkyard that ended up not fitting (its for the Gen3 camrys). Instead of taking it back, I cleaned it up with a wire wheel and sanded it down. I'm planning on paiting it one day and selling it to someone who is interested. Since you have a Gen 4, that doesn't help you much, but it shouldn't be hard to find an extra one and a shop to do it.

Gen 3 and 4 share the same 5SFE. The valve cover should be interchangable. (Someone correct me if i'm wrong).

They're not interchangable. The PCV is in a different location and intereferes with the throttle linkage on the newer 5SFE.
