Isn't the switch just to change the color from blue to green? Thats how mine are.

Mine constantly stays on. The switch is to change colors, but I have a dimmer switch.

you gotta splice into a 12v constant...so like you said when you flip on the lights the gauges come on too.

I basically followed what some people had posted on this forum. Anyway I took out everything and got the screws out. I took the panel inside and put the gauges on which took me awhile to get the heat and gas one on. I ended up moving the gas needle alittle and in the end the needle was put alittle more than what it was at orginally but when i filled my tank up it didnt go any higher than what it normally did. so hopefully it will just adjust itself. i also changed the 194 bulbs to red. when i got back to the car i connected the red power wire to the far right green wire on the brown connector. I grounded the black wire on the small nut and turn the gauges what color i wanted and how i wanted them to look. I placed the switch behind the gauges and slowly put them back in and i screwed them in. took it for a test drive and everything worked great. i was only bothered by that gas needle but so far it seems to be ok.
