Custom carbon fiber

Does anyone know of a good shop on the upper west coast that does custom carbon like hoods, trunks etc...? If the best you can do is california i will accept that too. At the very least i need a shop to make molds i can lay carbon in.

Even if you find a place that does CF work... good luck. There is a worldwide shortage of carbon fiber.

that doesnt mean others cant be made, if hes looking for someone that does custom carbon fiber he may be looking into gettin one of his own since allen doesnt want anymore on the market.

you might be try some local universitys, specifically the raceing teams. they have to make their own CF shit, altho there quality may be questionable as well as their ability to do it.

^^better custom hood with louvres, a trunk and alot of secret stuff for myself. The hood and trunk we could do a group buy on if there are at least 20 people, but there is almost no chances of that. This is the hood design i kinda want:

really hadn't thought about grills but i would think it would be pretty easy. You could probably do it yourself if you got the carbon. Small solid peices like that aren't very hard to make. Just set yours in a mold and then lay the carbon in the mold.

there are people that have been trying to get another vented hood made, you might be able to get 20 for a group buy, altho i think we did the ViS one with 15. if your trying to get peices like that done id stay away from univeristy race teams

I wanted one of those, but I have the regular one, and will be cutting into it, molding the vent and meshing the hole, I have 10-15yds of twill left. I used a little for my seats, some panels and whatever else, but the rest went into storage.
I am not sure what the rest of the roll will be for.

well if people express enough interest in either the trunk or the hood we could group buy it, but i don't see that happening. If people think they would be interested though ( seriously) then you can put your name down. If we had 20 then we could maybe count on 15. Plus someone in cali would have to take care of the legwork.

I like the vents closer to the top, which are the kind I'mma put on my custom hood, but I'm putting a scoop on for my intake.
