4th Generation automatic restart?

this was odd... i have a kill switch which interupts the EFI relay and is in short arms reach while driving though hidden.
Whilst driving and been off in another world i was playing with it and completely zoned out and for some reason flicked it on (aka kill the engine)...

As soon as i did it i realised what i had done looked at the tacho no rpm still rolling at 100km/h... i instinctivly flicked the switch straight away (about a 2 second later) and the engine was running again as normal and i had normal power straight away, (still in drive, auto V6)

how did it start again? i've been windering for a few days now... thanks...

Lol..never heard that one before!

The starter motor spins the engine to start things off...perhaps because the car was moving...in gear, it acted the same way...and of course, because the car had been started, all electrical systems were still active. Maybe.... haha

That's like what I was thinking also. It would be like push starting an automatic I guess.
