Gen6 Glass Break Sensor

Hi Everyone,

Just got my 07 XLE special ordered on June 8th. I have had it in the shop for several things and one of them was the sensitivity of the Glass Break Sensor which is part of the alarm system. The book says that moderate tapping with the key should sound a "warn away chirp". This doesn't happen. The dealer said they adjusted the sensitivity to its highest level and it still does't chirp or alarm go off. He said that the glass has to be broken. DA what is the sense in that? why whould there be a sensitivity adjustment ? Any ideas? where is this adjustment? Is the service department full of B.S. ?

Thanks
