2nd Generation which brakes pads/rotors to get ?

it's time for me to work on my brakes.... i've searched and it seems that i should get HPS hawk and brembo blank.... anyone suggest any other brands? what about these Akebono ProACT ? should i get cemramics ? cause HPS is composites... what about EBC...i've heard from a friend those were good for him

is there any other rotors offered for the gen2? i see them on ebay but 50$ for a pair of rotors slotted/crossed drill.... seems kinda cheap.....

I wouldn't get slotted if you drive the car normally. You'll go through pads to quick.

I do not have any experience with EBC Red but I know the GreenStuff pads on a Camry are not worth it at all. They leave very much to be desired in stopping power, dust, durability (how long they last) noise and feel. There are much better pads out there than the EBC greens.

Reds may be different but I am going right Past the EBC line until they change a few things.
