3rd Generation Are timing belt and waterpump DIY replaceable?

Hi, I think my waterpump is gone, as it flushes coolent at random times and flush alot. I want to know if someone of you have replaced it yourself? what kind of precautions are neccessory?

The waterpump pretty much bolts on/off. Its all the other stuff that needs to be removed/reinstalled that may cause problems.

Make sure you understand how to align the crank + cam and install the timing belt.
