His question is due to his never ending quest / workings on sleepers.

He has done a few before this, and now is looking for something on the lines like a (sp) Cresenda with a swap done it off eBay a few days ago.

2nd Generation

I have an old 2000 or 2001 issue of ZOOM Magazine (Aussie car mag) and there is a half page spread about a guy in Melbourne who has done a full 3S-GTE conversion on a Gen2 sedan and added the 4wd gearbox, tail shafts and rear diff & etc.

He removed the fuel tank and had mounts created/welded to mount the rear diff & drive shafts and even had an underbody pic of the diff mounted up.

The classic part of all this is he didn't install a suspension kit at all, he left it at stock ride height and left the original toyota rims on it. It looks like a grandma's car but really a sleeper from hell !!!

I will go through my boxes of car magazines and find the issue of ZOOM with this 1/2 page feature on this Gen2, scan it and post it here for all to see - Stay Tuned !!!

I've ripped pass a few nice cars before (Posrche's, M3, etc), and each time I annihilate them, they ask if I had a Supra swap. I just chuckle...haha Maybe I do have a Supra swap after all... I mean, it does sound like one kind of j/k

^Here's the infamous Camry GT4.

IIRC, some dude on team13devils also did a 3sgte swap on his camry, which makes him the first Camry in North America I've heard about with the swap.

Someday, I'm gonna do a 3SGTE swap on my camry.
