Gen6 Radio Display Message

Just out of curiosity, has there been any progress on figuring out how to change the radio display message? (Welcome to Camry) ? Who actually manufactures the head unit?

Or has anyone come across a decent replacement head unit? (with or without the ability to change greeting text.. although that would be pretty cool. And of course, it shouldn't radically change the look of the dash.)

I've only had my Hybrid for two weeks and other than the smaller trunk, that's the only other complaint I have...I intend to contact of few of my techie buddies to see what they have to say...I'm sure when enough people complain, someone will come up with a solution!

Guys,

This is my second 07 camry that I own and on both of my camry's. I've never seen that message (Welcome to Camry) anywhere. When I turn the car on, my little display simply shows camry and my radio comes right up with the toyota logo and then the security warning for the nav. but no welcome message anywhere.

Where do you guys see???? I would like to be welcomed by my camry
