Why the hell cant I post on this forum?

I'll be surprised if this messages goes through. Every time I try to post something the page just loads...loads...loads, and then a blank page is displayed (and the message isn't posted)... wtf?

Here's the original message maybe quick posting will work...

Hi guys!

Well my 93 camry is still running strong, only minor cosmetic problems. However, I'm fed up with driving an automatic transmission, and I can't wait to switch to a manual car. Can someone recommend a good manual car that's approximately worth same as my car? (I can probably add up to $1000 on its value).

My car is: 93 Camry LE 2.2 liter 4 door, 180k miles, alloy wheels, 10 disc CD changer, power steering, windows, locks, very clean car. Problems include: AC doesn't work, cruise control doesn't work, moderate oil leak (have to add oil once every few months), some small dents on the body, some scratches, some chipped paint in the front.

What's wierd is that I can't figure out the value of this car. I checked out different places, like kelly blue book, nada, edmunds, and everywhere the prices are different. I've checked out other listings of this car and people are selling it anywhere from $900 to $6000 without any serious difference between the listings.

So, please suggest a new car for me, and help me out with the value

PS I test driven a 90 integra today... jesus this car would smoke my camry and leave it eating dust.

with those problems you listed i can tell you your not gunna get 6000, id say your probly looking about 2000-2500, maybe 3 for it if you sell it youself.

With that many miles, broken AC, broken cruise control, and oil leak (what do you mean add more every few months, you should be changing every few months), I would say you're probably looking at $1500.

Buy a used Civic if you really really want to drive a manual.

Get the ac, cruise, and oil leak fixed, give it a good detailing, and you may get 2500, more if (when) the price of gas keeps going up. I think the resell of the older camrys (4 cly cars in general) will be going up. All of the SUV drivers, are going to want DD's, that get better MPG.

It's a 93 car, you are talking about a couple hundred dollars either way. We are in the USA and used cars are a glut on the market, the older, the more so. when a dealer gives you trade in on this car, he will factor it in to the price and maybe even tell you he is doing so. If you sell it yourself it might take a little while and do you really want to bother over this amount of money.
Kelly blue book online is the definitive guide, as you suspect, with this milage, and if the paint is less than perfect and there are any dents thecondition = poor, unfortunately.

As for the new pup I'd go with another Camry myself.
