Most common year on the road?

So what's the most common / popular generation or year currently on the road?

I am thinking 2000 maybe? Or 2001?

In my area, definetly the 2000-2001 model. Even though the Gen. 5 and Gen. 6 are catching up quickly.

You know what's amazing is that cars of year 2000 are already "old cars".

I remember 2000 like yesterday, yet 2000 year cars are already 7 seven years old this fall and in just a few short years, will be 10 years old.

I remember when '93 were new cars.. now (at risk of offending a good portion of the site) I suppose they are ancient (and therefore great deals I suppose)

Ever since I bought mine, I see a lot of Gen 3's around here, especially the 92-94 models.

I would think it was the 2003 because in a world record book i saw it said that the 03 was the most sold car in the world.

Def gen 4 here with quite a few 4.5s too. Then gen 5-5.5

3 and below and 6 are a tie for now. That will change soon.
