well for starters. suspension. but i dont know what works good on these cars. then i think just some small power adders. its my daily for now. so i just wanted a slight power increase for a more enjoyable ride. its a manual, so that (as weird as it sounds) is more fun than an auto right there.
i dunno. i usually start with intake, header, exhaust on all my cars. but i cant find any of that crap at all.

Yeah you won't find any aftermarket "bolt-ons". Lets see, the 87-89 celica GT has a 3SFE, you can try parts for that one too. Eibach and Intrax ( I'm sure more) make lowering springs for gen 2's. Tokico makes performance struts, Whiteline has sway bars, bushings, and control arms. Strut tower brace- I got mine on eBay, it does the job (unless your racing hardcore or something). Intake manifold -don't think you'll find any performance, best bet just polish it and port match it to TB and intake ports (get a book on port & polishing and DIY, just don't try to over do it just try to take out mfg imperfections and smooth it out, I wouldn't mess with the head much unless you know what you are doing). Header- use one from a Celica GT 87-89. Exhaust- pick out a muffler of choice and get the exhaust custom. Change all oils to synthetic (Mobil 1 preferred for engine, I use Lucas for differential). Intake (CAI etc.)- definately gonna be custom.
there is a company that makes CAI for the gen2... a few of use has one ... from el prototype in irwindale, CA...headers you can get the genie header for 3sfe.... if you really want good suspesion... i'd suggest whiteline bars.. bushing kit and some good tires... it's like you're on rails

Here's my camry ^
Current: B+G Springs, KYB GR2 Struts, Erebuni Bodykit(uninstalled), 3SGTE/E52 swap, Crane HI-6S Ignition Box, Crane Timing Retard Controller.
Plans: Here
i think they're fine.. i wish they were stiffer though... here's a pic of it
http://tril.pendulus.net/pics/camry/...07.jpg?offset=
i don't think they're that low never had a problem on driveways or anything
well tire size depends on what rim size you get... i'm running 205/50/16 and that's the right size for 16' i dunno for any other just use a tire size calulator to figure it out
strut depends.. if you have serviceable struts (search for pics) you can just change the insert and keep the casing... but if you don't.. you'd have to change the whole assembly...
