Thank you, forum members

I would like to thank all of you who have helped me with my various problems and dilemmas with my 1990 Camry. I have been reading (and sometimes responding to) this Camry forum for a while now. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the information and the personal involvement of its members. I am especially impressed by the obvious qualifications of many of the members. Many of you are mechanics doing this from a sense of good will and a respect for the car. There are some who no longer even have a Camry that continue to offer their insight. I suspect that there are some Toyota employees who do this while being paid by Toyota but even so, your concern and patience with us belies even your dedication over and above a paycheck. It also emphasizes Toyota's commitment to its customers, even when we grouse about getting gouged.

This extends to the forum moderators as well. Even though you're probably getting some compensation from advertisers it can't be enough for the effort you put into this site. (Though I would like the imbedded green mouse over links to disappear.) Anyway, this is just an overdue "Thank You" to all of you. I don't say it often enough and, lord knows, you deserve more credit.

I doubt about toyota employees.
In the begining, most of the time, I used to come just to get solution for my own problems, then I started visiting it in my spare time, and I try to help other people with the problems, that I already passed through.
I had 86 camry, then 88 and now 92. So eventhough I am no where close to being a mechanic, I know some stuff that I can help very small subset of this community.

I think similar is the case of other members.

Toyota dont need to hire employees to help people like that, as Toyota is unbeatable. No doubt about its reliability.

But this is not the only car's forum on internet. you can find online forums for almost every single make and model that is availble in North America. Just google it.
