Gen6 Well It's Almost A SE

Hi Ya'all, I just installed a 07 SE Grill on my 07 LE and fit's like a glove. While I was at it I installed my remote radar detector right behind the grill area (passport sr7). I decided to take the front bumper cover off for easier access and to my surprise, it came off (and on) very easy without a scratch. While I had the cover off I seen that it is already prewired for fog lights, which will my next mod (I just got to find out what other parts are needed). BTW the grill is held on by two small phillips head screws and alot of molded-in clips that fit into slots already in the bumper cover that snap into place with the screws to keep it all tight. I guess you could install the grill with the bumper cover on but to me it was just as easy to remove it and I wouldn't have found the fog light wires and have a chance to clean out the radiator area. I already had installed SE rims and a lip spoiler, maybe those fog lights next, but it still won't be an SE. Anyone who knows anyone who wants a magnetic gray LE grill I've got one.

you forget about the underbody spoilers. that's what makes SE exterior unique. prepare a $1500-$2000 to get that done, which probably isn't worst it.

Don't forget to replace the seats with the SE seats and also the fabric, as well as the door threshold things and interior aluminum trim, humm what else... Chrome exhaust tip.

Probably the same reason I didn't....the ride & the fact you can lower your rear seats. My LE looks more like an SE now. Added the Spoiler, Chrome tip, Rims, and I want the fog light kit as well.

Also SE's are harder to find...LE's are pretty common.

How about SE to LE?

Has anyone though of getting an SE and swapping out the suspension and back seats?

I wonder if that makes more economic sense then starting with an LE?

humm....
