Gen6 A local dealer got a manual se

I went to a few local toyota dealers (atlanta) each of which is part of SET (South East Toyota) and I was looking for a 2007 Camry SE 5 spd manual. Each dealer said they werent allowed to stock those cars due to market demand. BS??? THen a few weeks later I got an email saying that they are getting a manual SE in and they want me to take a look at it. Were they BS'ing about not being able to get a manual SE?? Anyhow, I will probably be in a 2007 Black/Gray 5 speed manual Camry SE and Im pretty stoked

They have been available at fitzmall for months. A Texas buyer flew up, bought one and drove home.

Good way to avoid all the SET useless add-ons.

Dude! That dealer is lying to you. You can get whatever you want. All you gotta do is order it. It may take some time... so patience is a must. You can order a Camry with whatever you want in it. I talked to 4 different dealers in MD and they all said that they can order them... If it is a pretty common car... it's faster to get because of the amount of that particular vehicle gets produced from the factory. 5speed manual is not as high in demand because a camry is more of a family vehicle. However, the SE was designed to catch the eyes of the younger generations... so they probably built more manuals than previous camry generations.

The dealer may be trying to pull you in and getting you to pay a price that you don't want to pay. He's trying to tell you that the car will be gone if you don't buy it now. Which maybe true... but if you have patience... order one. It will require a $500 down payment.
